How the Suncorp App is innovating your money experience

With the new Suncorp App, we set out to give our customers the best of everything Suncorp has to offer. That commitment was recognised when the App got the gong for Best Innovation in Customer Experience at the 2019 Australian Banking Innovation Awards, beating out CBA, ING, Westpac and CUA as category finalists.
More than just banking, the App is designed to be a ‘one-stop-shop’ for getting your money, home, car and life sorted.
Giving you smarter ways to manage your money
The Suncorp App makes it easy to view and manage all your Suncorp group products and services, with a huge range of self-service options across both banking and insurance. The App’s clever virtual assistant, Scout, ties the experience together seamlessly.
Scout allows customers to integrate their banking and insurance policies, as well as services like Suncorp Benefits. For example, Scout can help you submit and track insurance claims and pay your policy renewal. With our latest release, some customers can even use it to open a bank account. This is one of the first chatbots of its kind and we’re super proud of it.

Helping you better understand your spending – and make it easier to save
More than just a platform to manage your money, the Suncorp App can give you rich insights into your spending. By organising your Suncorp Bank transactions into 14 categories, such as Clothing, Entertainment and Groceries, the App’s Dollar Tracker feature can help you identify spending patterns, set a budget and plan for the future.
We’ve made saving with Suncorp Benefits easier too. Eligible customers can use the App to access and manage a wide range of benefits and rewards, including everyday savings from major retailers like Woolworths, Myer, David Jones and JB HiFi.*
We’ve condensed the process of accessing Suncorp Benefits, like fuel eCards or groceries discounts into just two clicks – one tap to see the vouchers available to you, and then one more tap to access the voucher. Alongside the Dollar Tracker feature, it gives our customers a more seamless approach to spending and budgeting.
