We’ve teamed up with Schmick to offer convenient repairs for a range of minor cosmetic dents, scratches and scuffs through their SELECT membership.

Custom paint, Nitro or hydrogen fuel, a petrol turbo or supercharger, or a roll bar, roll cage or racing harness are not covered by your Comprehensive Car Insurance policy.
Any person that you know will drive your car repeatedly should be listed as a driver on your policy.
The exception to this are learner drivers who do not need to be listed on the policy until they get their licence. They will still be covered while driving the car while on their learners and the relevant parts of the PDS will apply to any claim. An excess of $400 will apply (in addition to any other excess) if the learner is driving at the time of an incident.
It is always better to list any person on your policy who will drive your car, as if you don’t it may result in additional excesses, a reduction or refusal of a claim.
Please note: Learner drivers are not covered to drive a Hire Car obtained under your insurance policy. We also do not cover any driver under the age of 25 while driving a High-Performance vehicle.

Yes, it may be, however if your son or daughter has their own car it should be insured in their own name.
Each year you comprehensively insure your car with us without making an excess payable claim, we will reward you with a percentage of the premium you paid as a credit on the next renewal of your comprehensive policy for that car. If Claims Free Driver Rewards applies to your policy it will be shown on your certificate of insurance and any credit you qualify for applies at your next renewal. Conditions apply.*
*With Claims Free Driver Rewards we will take into account your claims history when we calculate your premium. You cannot have Rating 1 for Life and Claims Free Driver Rewards on the same car. Claims Free Driver Rewards is not redeemable or payable as cash. Refer to the PDS for details.

Lifetime repair guarantee
For repairs we authorise, the quality of the materials and workmanship are guaranteed for the life of your car, even if you no longer own it.
Two-wheel trailer cover
Up to $1,000 to cover accidental loss or damage to your two-wheel trailer when it’s attached to your car.
Baby capsules and child seats
We cover the costs of replacing your baby capsules and/or child seats stolen or damaged in an incident up to $750 per item.
Tools of trade cover
When your car is damaged in an incident covered by your policy, which is not theft or attempted theft, we will cover your tools of trade for loss or damage in the same incident. When your car is stolen and we have accepted your claim, we will cover your tools of trade for theft but only if the tools are locked in your car or in a locked tool box that is fitted to your car. Limit is up to a total of $1,500 per claim.
Hire car after a not at fault incident
If you’ve had an incident that’s not your fault, we’ll arrange and pay for you to have a hire car while your car is being repaired. Disclaimer: Conditions apply. Lifetime new for old car replacement
If your car is stolen or damaged in an incident and we decide your car is a total loss, we’ll replace it with a brand new car of the same make and model (or similar make and model if the same isn’t available), or pay you what it would have cost us to replace your car, no matter how old it gets, provided you’re the first registered owner of the car and it’s been insured continuously under our Comprehensive Advantages cover from within 13 months of it first being purchased. After claim expenses
If your car's stolen or damaged in an incident we will pay up to a total of $1000 towards:
- emergency travel and accommodation if your car's not safe to drive and you're more than 100klm away from home
- emergency repairs to make your car roadworthy or safe so that you can get to your destination or to a repairer
- replacing your personal property such as clothing or electronic and telecommunicaiton devices lost or damaged at the time of the incident.
Note: you need to provide us with all invoices and receipts
Windscreen and window glass cover
When the only damage to your car is the windscreen or window glass, we’ll cover the cost to repair or replace it without you having to pay an excess for the first claim in the period of insurance. Where a chipped windscreen, that has not cracked, can be safelty repaired, we will also cover the cost of one repair without you losing your one excess free claim.
Hire car after theft for up to 21 days
We'll cover the reasonable cost of a hire car that meets your needs for up to 21 days following theft, or attempted theft following any approved claim. Conditions apply.
