Who can make a Qld CTP Claim?
If you have been injured in a motor vehicle accident in QLD where another driver was entirely or partly at fault, you can make a CTP insurance claim to access the treatment and support to recover from your injuries and get back to life.
You should lodge your claim against the CTP insurer of the at-fault vehicle.
If you have suffered serious injuries in a motor accident you may be able to access support through National Injury Insurance Scheme Queensland (NIISQ) regardless of who was at fault.
You have the option to seek legal advice at any stage of the claims process. You may choose to deal directly with us about your claim or engage a lawyer to act on your behalf. Before engaging a lawyer, you should discuss the potential costs involved and whether any of these legal costs may be recoverable from Suncorp.
