SUNCORP FUEL GIFT CARD - TERMS & CONDITIONS

PARTICIPATION

1. This competition (Competition) is conducted by AAI Limited ABN 48 005 297 807 trading as Suncorp (“the Promoter”), of Level 23, 80 Ann Street, Brisbane 4000, ph. 13 11 55.

2. All entry instructions and information provided by the Promoter form part of these Terms and Conditions. By entering, entrants accept these Terms and Conditions.

3. The Competition is only open to individuals who:

  1. are Australian residents aged 18 years or older at time of entry;
  2. have consented to receive marketing communications from the Promoter and the Issuer and do not opt out during the Competition Period (defined below); and
  3. are not directors, management or employees, or their immediate family members of the Promoter or its related companies, its agencies, or other companies associated with, or benefiting from, the Competition ("Eligible Entrant").

A reference to “immediate family member(s)” means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or cousin.

4. Competition entry commences at 12.00am AEST on 24 May 2026 and closes at 11.59pm AEST on 31 July 2026 ("Competition Period"). The Competition Period will be divided into two (2) entry periods (“Entry Period”).

5. Entries open at 12.00am and close at 11.59pm AEST on the dates listed below:

ENTRY

6. In these conditions:

"Competition Website” means Suncorp.com.au/fillup

"Eligible Entry” means a quote that qualifies for entry—i.e, a quote that is applied for and received from the Promoter during the Competition Period, in the manner specified in these Terms and Conditions (including a unique quote reference number and the Eligible Entrant requirements). Eligible quotes for entry must be either for a Car and Vehicle insurance policy and/or Home and Contents Insurance Policy.

Car and Vehicle Insurance Policy” means a new Suncorp Car and/or Motorcycle Insurance Policy (including Comprehensive, Third Party Property Damage, Caravan and Boat Insurance but excluding CTP Insurance) issued by AAI Limited ABN 48 005 297 807. AAI Limited’s normal underwriting criteria apply. Excludes renewals.

 “Home and Contents Insurance Policy” means a new Home and Contents; Home only; Contents only (including Renters Insurance); Landlord (Property and/or Contents) issued by AAI Limited ABN 005 297 807. AAI Limited’s normal underwriting criteria apply. Excludes renewals.

The Fuel Gift Card” means the digital gift card awarded as a prize under clause 16, being a prepaid Mastercard described in clause 18. 

7. To enter the Competition, an Eligible Entrant must, during the Competition Period: 

  1. Obtain a quote for one of the eligible policies described in clause 6.
  2. If obtaining the quote online at www.suncorp.com.au, use the link displayed on the “Quote Summary” page to access the entry form on the Competition Website, complete it, and submit an Eligible Entry that includes the unique quote number provided at the end of the quote.
  3. Or if obtaining the eligible quote through the Suncorp contact centre, visit the Competition Website, follow the prompts to the entry form on the Competition Website, complete and submit an Eligible Entry that includes the unique quote number provided by the Suncorp contact centre.

8. The Promoter reserves the right, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority, to modify or suspend the Competition Website from time to time, at the Promoter’s discretion, without notice to any Eligible Entrant due to unforeseen circumstances out of the Promoter’s control (for example, a website outage or security risk). The Promoter is not responsible for any error, omission, interruption or delay an Eligible Entrant may experience as a result.

9. Suncorp is a business name of AAI Limited ABN 48 005 297 807 AFSL 230859. Car Insurance and Home & Contents Insurance is issued by AAI Limited. Read the relevant Product Disclosure Statement before buying insurance and consider whether this insurance is right for you before acting on it. Target Market Determination is also available. 10. A maximum of two (2) entries is permitted per Eligible Entrant during the Competition Period. For avoidance of doubt that means a maximum of two (2) eligible quotes per Eligible Entrant is permitted.

11. Entries must be received by the Promoter during the Competition Period. Entries will be deemed received by the Promoter at the time that it is received by the Promoter’s information system.

12. The Promoter may, with reasonable grounds, declare an entry invalid if the entry is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or disqualify any Eligible Entrant that tampers with the entry process or benefits from such tampering or otherwise acts in a manner that is unlawful, disruptive, dishonest or calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of this Competition. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.

13. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to require an Eligible Entrant to verify the validity of their entry within a reasonable requested time, including but not limited to their identity, age, place of residence and eligibility, and to disqualify any Eligible Entrant who does not satisfy the entry criteria in these Terms and Conditions. 

14. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an Eligible Entrant, the Promoter reserves the right to determine the identity of the Eligible Entrant. 

DRAW AND PRIZE

15. There will be two (2) draws conducted for entries received during the Competition Period (each a “Monthly Draw”). Each  Monthly Draw will take place at Anisimoff Legal, Level 3, 162 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 at 11:00am AEST, in the presence of an independent scrutineer, on the dates listed in the table below. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries (for each Monthly Draw) and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn (“Reserve Entries”). Non-winning entries in Monthly Draw 1 will be entered into Monthly Draw 2.

16. In each Monthly Draw, the first two hundred and fifty (250) valid entries drawn will each win an AUD $250.00 Digital Fuel Gift Card.

17. The quotes drawn from Monthly Draw 1 that have won a gift card, will be suppressed and excluded from Monthly Draw 2 to avoid winner duplication on the same quote. For avoidance of doubt, a second quote from the same entrant may still be eligible for Monthly Draw 2. 

18. The Fuel Gift Card expires 36 months from date of issue. Fuel Gift Cards are not refundable. Lost or stolen cards cannot be replaced. The Fuel Gift Card is a prepaid Mastercard that works at locations that have the designated merchant category code Fuel Dealers (Automotive) (5983), Automated Fuel Dispensers (5442), Petroleum and Petroleum Products (5172) and Service Stations (With or Without Ancillary Services) (5541). The Fuel Gift Card is not valid and will not work at locations outside of these merchant category codes. Fuel Gift Cards are still subject to individual merchant acceptance and in accordance with these Terms & Conditions and any applicable law and subject always to the individual trading terms of each participating merchant. 19. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming The Fuel Gift Card are not included. Any unused balance of The Fuel Gift Card will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of The Fuel Gift Card is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on The Fuel Gift Card.

PROVISIONS APPLICABLE TO PRIZE GENERALLY

20. The total prize pool is valued at AUD$125,000.00.

21. Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not take the prize by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited.

22. If the prize is unavailable (unavailable does not mean postponed, rescheduled or unable to be taken or used by the winner) for any reason outside the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may, substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. Subject to any applicable law which cannot be excluded, the Promoter accepts no other liability or responsibility for any loss incurred by a winner or any other party if a prize is unavailable for any reason.

23. Other than as expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions, prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable, non-replaceable, and non-redeemable for another prize including cash, except at the Promoter’s discretion and subject to relevant State and Territory legislation.

PRIZE WINNERS

24. The winner/s will be notified in writing by email within seven (7) days of the relevant Monthly Draw. 

25. The prize notification will include instructions as to how the winner is to claim their prize. 

26. The prize will only be awarded following any winner validation and verification that the Promoter reasonably requires.

27. The details of the winner/s (last name, first initial and postcode) will be published on the Competition Website on the dates listed in the table above.

28. The prize/s must be claimed by 31 August 2026 (for the original winner/s) and 28 September 2026 (for the winner/s of the unclaimed prize draw, if any). 

29. A draw for any unclaimed prizes may take place on 1 September 2026 at the same time and place as the original Monthly Draws, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners, if any, will be notified in writing by email within seven (7) days of the draw and their details (first initial, surname and postcode) will be published online on the Competition Website on 8 September 2026.

GENERAL

30. Nothing in these terms and conditions restricts, excludes or modifies any consumer rights under any statute including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

31If this Competition is not capable of running as planned, or is interfered with or disrupted in any way due to unforeseen circumstances out of the Promoter’s control (including by vandalism, power failures, natural disasters, acts of God, weather event, civil unrest, strikes, pandemics, government restrictions, computer bugs or viruses, tampering or technical failures), the Promoter reserves the right, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, or invalidate any affected entries, acting reasonably and to the extent necessary to address the unforeseen circumstances and subject to the approval of any relevant gaming authorities, where required.

32. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, the Promoter assumes no responsibility for the following, except to the extent caused or contributed to by our own negligence: 

  1. any error, omission, interruption, or delay in the operation or transmission of any communication sent to (or by) the Promoter whether caused by problems with communication networks or lines, computer systems, software or internet service providers, congestion on any carrier network or otherwise;
  2. any theft, destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of such communications;
  3. any problem with, or technical malfunction of, any computer system or other equipment used for the conduct of the Competition;
  4. any delay in delivery (when not directly caused by the Promoter or its supplier), or failure of safe delivery of a prize.

33. If any dispute arises between an Eligible Entrant and the Promoter concerning the conduct of this Competition, the Promoter will, acting reasonably, consider your point of view, taking into account any facts or evidence you put forward, and to respond to it fairly within a reasonable time. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

34. A winner accepts a prize at their own risk. Any tax liability arising as a result of accepting a prize is the responsibility of the winner. Independent financial advice should be sought. 

35. To the full extent permitted by law, the Promoter, its associated companies and agencies and any of their personnel (the “Relevant Parties”), exclude all liability for any loss (including any damage, claim, injury, cost or expense) which is suffered or incurred by any Eligible Entrant in connection with the Competition or the prize, including without limitation:

  1. any indirect loss such as loss of business or other profits; and
  2. any liability for personal injury or death.

To the extent that such liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

36. If requested by the Promoter and agreed by the winner/s, the winner/s will participate in reasonable promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding winning a prize, and consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including any photograph, film and/or recording of them) in promotional material related to the Competition in any media at any time without remuneration or compensation, financial or otherwise.  

37. Each Eligible Entrant completely releases Meta from any and all liability in relation to this Competition, and acknowledges that this Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Meta. 

PRIVACY STATEMENT AND MARKETING CONSENT

38. Personal information is collected from Eligible Entrants by or on behalf of the Promoter to enable the Promoter and its agents to manage, administer and promote the Competition and, where applicable, publicise the winner. The personal information may also be provided to persons assisting the Promoter, including prize suppliers and deliverers, marketing agencies and IT providers, and to gaming authorities, media outlets and related companies. The Promoter will disclose Eligible Entrants’ personal information and/or collect personal information about Eligible Entrants from persons to engage in its business functions and activities and for the purposes detailed in this statement. By participating in the Competition (and/or accepting a prize), Eligible Entrants consent to these uses and disclosures of their personal information.

39. If an Eligible Entrant does not provide the personal information the Promoter requests, the Promoter may not be able to provide the requested quote and the Promoter may not be able to enter them into the Competition. All personal information is handled in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy found at www.suncorp.com.au/about-us/legal/privacy. Information about how to access or correct the personal information that the Promoter holds, or how to make a complaint, can be found in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy available online at www.suncorp.com.au/about-us/legal/privacy.

40. Entry into the Competition also entitles the Promoter and any related companies that use the SUNCORP brand (“we”/”us”) to let the Eligible Entrant know from time to time about news, offers, products and services they might be interested in (by any medium, including telephone, email, mail, SMS or online marketing). In order to carry out direct marketing, Eligible Entrants’ personal information will be collected from and disclosed to others that provide us with specialised data matching, trending or analytical services, as well as general marketing services. We, and other people who provide us with services, may combine the personal information collected from Eligible Entrants or others, with the information we, or other companies in the Suncorp Group, or our service providers already hold about Eligible Entrants. We may also use online targeted marketing, data and audience matching and market segmentation to improve advertising relevance. Each Eligible Entrant agrees that they must provide and/or maintain their consent to receive such marketing communications and not opt out of receiving such communications during the Competition Period.
