Do I need to report the accident to the Police?

All motor vehicle accidents that cause injuries need to be reported to the Police.

You can report your accident to the Police in a number of ways:

The Police can attend the accident scene.
You can attend your local Police station and make a report.
You may complete the Report of Traffic Incident to Police form and submit it at or to any Police station.
