Our Motorhome Insurance is designed to cover your home away from home while you’re out on the road, enjoying the sights. What modifications or accessories to my caravan do I need to tell you about?

All modifications and accessories must be listed in the policy and their value included in the total amount covered. Modifications must be carried out by a professional caravan repairer and homemade/home built modifications will not be covered by your policy. If a horse float has accommodation facilities added, we can offer cover under our Caravan policy. Once living accommodation has been added, it is no longer considered a trailer. We insure all Australian built caravans that are used for private use. We also cover camper trailers, box trailers, car trailers, dog trailers, gooseneck trailers and horse floats.

Yes, our policy provides cover for up to $1,000 for contents in your caravan. You can also add Increased Contents cover for an extra cost to cover your contents up to an amount of your choice. Fixed limits apply to certain items.

You must let us know of any modifications or accessories to your caravan as this may affect your insurance premium and coverage.

Suncorp Health Insurance is issued by nib health funds limited ABN 83 000 124 381 (nib), a registered private health insurer, and is marketed by Platform CoVentures Pty Ltd ABN 82 626 829 623 (PC), a Suncorp Group company. PC is an authorised agent of nib and receives commission from nib. Read the policy booklet before buying this insurance.

SUNCORP LIFE INSURANCE
