What’s not covered?

Loss, damage or legal liability for or caused by, connected with, or arising from any of the following:

• any actual or threatened use, existence, or release of any biological, bacterial, viral, germ, chemical or poisonous substance, pollutant, or contaminant
• any looting or rioting following the actual or threatened release of any biological, bacterial, viral, germ, chemical or poisonous substance, pollutant, or contaminant
• any action taken by a public authority to prevent, limit, or remedy the actual or threatened release of any biological, bacterial, viral, germ, chemical or poisonous substance, pollutant, or contaminant.

But, we will cover loss or damage that’s covered by insured event ‘Fire (including bushfire)’ and your legal liability that’s covered by ‘Legal liability’ cover, to the extent your legal liability arises from your use of pesticides or herbicides at the insured address.
