What’s covered
Drones are covered for loss or damage to the device caused by insured events. They can also be covered at home for accidental damage if you have chosen to add the optional 'Accidental damage at home' cover to your policy for an extra premium.
You can learn more about this optional coverage in the Product Disclosure Statement.
What’s not covered
We do not cover legal liability for or caused by, connected with, or arising from the use or ownership of a drone. They are also not covered as unspecified items under the 'Personal valuables - unspecified items' option or while in use if insured as an ‘Personal valuables – specified items’. In addition, we do not cover loss, damage or legal liability arising from breaking the law.
