What’s covered

We cover bicycles under our contents cover. When we say bicycle, we mean a standard bicycle that can only be propelled by pedaling. Our Personal Valuables Optional cover is available to cover your bicycle for accidental loss or damage at or away from the insured address (home/unit) while in use unless being used for racing or pace-making.

Should you have an e-bicycle, you would require additional cover under our optional Personal Valuables covers.

Keep in mind that for a claim on an item with a replacement value over $3,000, we will ask for proof of purchase, a professional valuation, and a photograph.

What’s not covered

There are some instances where you will not be covered, like if the loss or damage was not caused by an insured event. You can learn more about these exclusions or limitations in the Product Disclosure Statement.
