Team Girls

In 2017, we launched Team Girls with Netball Australia in response to a startling statistic: nearly 50% of all girls stop playing sport by 17. You see, we know that sport builds confidence. It’s a chance to show another side of yourself, learn to be part of a team, increase your resilience, and make friendships that last a lifetime.

Suncorp’s mission is to help more women and girls stay in sport, while encouraging more Australians to back them every step of the way. And we know this mission takes more than just the players.

It takes a team.

It takes a team to pack the stands.

It takes a team to get the players to the grounds on time for the first whistle.

It takes a team to wash uniforms, clean changing rooms, mow fields, analyse strategies and build players’ confidence for the next game, the next game and the game after that.

It takes a team.
