What are my daily limits, and how do I change them?

Daily limits are the maximum amount of money that can leave your account in a 24-hour period to protect you and your money from theft and fraud. Different daily limits apply to online banking, ATM withdrawals and EFTPOS cash out withdrawals. Combined cash daily withdrawal limit for ATMs and EFTPOS cash out withdrawal is $1,000 per day per card, which can be increased to $2,000 per day per card by contacting us or visiting your nearest Suncorp branch . Online banking daily withdrawal limits apply to external transfers, BPAY® transactions and funds transferred to other Suncorp accounts from Internet Banking and the Suncorp App. If you need a higher internet daily limit, you’ll need a Security Token Code to approve the change. Download the free Suncorp Secured App to generate the code from the convenience of your mobile phone. What is my Suncorp BSB?

Suncorp Bank has one BSB for all branches and accounts: 484-799 . A BSB (or Bank, State, Branch code) is a six-digit number that identifies your bank and branch in Australia. You’ll need to include this number if you’re transferring money to new payees outside of your address book.

How do I change my name and contact details on my accounts?

To change the name on your account, say because of marriage or divorce, you’ll need to follow the steps required by your state or territory’s Registry of Births Deaths and Marriages first. Once you’ve done that, you’ll then need to submit it in person at any Suncorp branch . How do I close my bank account?

To close your account(s), you can either: Send a secure message through Internet Banking. Find out how to send a secure message . Contact us . Visit your nearest branch. Be sure to bring ID. Before we close your account, we’ll need to confirm that all your direct debits and credits, cheques and visa authorisations and other payments have cleared. Some accounts that are packaged with an eligible Suncorp home loan and some business accounts may need to be closed in a Suncorp branch. How can I deposit money into my account?

You can deposit money into your account by cash or cheque at any of our Smart ATMs around Australia, or transfer money into your account digitally using Suncorp App, Internet and telephone banking.

Yes. You are liable for any Direct Debit you authorised, including a direct debit which causes your account to overdraw.

If you are wishing to stop or cancel a direct debit from being processed to your account, please contact us or visit us at any branch. We also suggest contacting the direct debit user.

To close your account, simply contact us or visit your nearest Suncorp branch.

1. A Suncorp Visa Debit Card is required.

2. To be eligible for a Suncorp Bank Visa Debit card you must be 16 years of age or older. If not eligible you will receive a Suncorp Bank eftpos card.

⁺⁺ Osko fast payments can only be made to a PayID or to the BSB and account number of an Osko enabled account at another Osko participating financial institution. Osko fast payments cannot be made from or to Passbook accounts, General Trust Accounts, loan accounts (other than line of credit and overdraft facilities), Farm Management Deposit Accounts, PayLater Accounts and Fixed Term Deposits. Osko fast payments cannot be made from Kids Savings Accounts, Agent’s Statutory Trust Accounts (Qld, NSW) and Solicitor’s Trust Accounts (Qld) but can be made to them.

Staff assisted Osko fast payments cannot be made in branch from Carbon Insights Account and Sub-Accounts, Everyday Options Sub-Accounts, Business Saver Accounts or eOptions Accounts. Future-dated and recurring payments, Business Payment Credits and payments from accounts which requires 2 or more persons to sign to withdraw will not be made as Osko fast payments. We are gradually introducing Osko in Internet Banking so it may not be available for all eligible accounts until the full rollout is complete. Before you confirm a ‘Pay Someone’ transfer in Internet Banking, we will tell you if it will be sent via Osko.
