Below you'll find all the information you'll need to prepare and submit your home loan application.

What you'll need

When applying for a home loan with Suncorp Bank, and before we can assess your home loan application, we require that each applicant provide the following information. This documentation will include details of your salary, occupation, residential status, assets, and liabilities. Depending on your circumstances, you may need to provide all or some of the items listed below. Your lending specialist will advise on what will apply for your situation.

Proof of income

  • PAYG – Computer generated payslip confirming at least 3 months year to date income or annual salary OR Bank statements confirming payment from employer over at least a 3 month period
  • Self-employed/Small Business – The last two consecutive years of end of financial year statements and tax returns for all borrowers, guarantors and all related entities.
  • Rental income – one of the below must be provided:
  • Recent property managers statement
  • Bank Statement
  • Last 2 years tax returns and ATO notice of assessment
  • Signed rental tenancy agreement
  • Copy of current registered lease over commercial property

Proof of residence

  • Rates notice if you are a home owner
  • Rent receipt or tenancy agreement if you are renting
  • Home Loan Statement if you are refinancing and the loan is not a Suncorp Loan – minimum 6 months
  • Written statement of board amount if boarding

Specific Requirements based on Purchase Purpose/ Reason

  • New Purchase – Copy of a fully completed, signed and dated contract of sale including annexures and special conditions
  • Building construction or home improvements – Copy of a fully completed and signed building contract or signed tender
  • Debt refinance/ consolidation:
  • Loans secured by real property – statement(s) for existing loan(s) covering a minimum 6 month period
  • Unsecured loans – statement(s) for existing loan(s) covering a minimum 6 month period

Proof of current liabilities

Loan accounts (if it is not a Suncorp Loan) - Minumum most recent 6 months of statements

  • Transaction accounts (if it is not a Suncorp facility) - Minimum most recent 3 months of statements
  • Credit cards  (if it is not a Suncorp facility) – Minimum most recent 3 months of statements

Proof of Non-Bank Savings (if you have them)

  • Saving account statements – Minimum 3 months of statements
  • Term Deposit – Most recent TD certificate
  • Managed Funds – Minimum 3 months of statements
