Have greater control of your money with our new card lock features

Card Lock

If you lose or misplace your Visa Debit Card, you can now safely lock it for peace of mind.
While your card is locked, all payments will be declined until you unlock or call us.

There are 4 new lock features to give you more security over your money

1. Block my card control

You can login to the Mobile Banking app at any time and place a temporary lock on your Visa Debit Card. This will block any usage of your card until you unlock it via the app or if you let us know.

2. Block Visa payWave Transactions

Make contactless ‘wave and go’ payments when shopping in a store. If your purchase is under $100, you don’t need to enter your PIN. If you turn off Visa payWave payments, you’ll always need to swipe or insert your card and enter your PIN when making purchases.

3. Block Internet Transactions

Want to ensure your card isn’t used for online purchases? This block includes any payments made online with your card, including online shopping (both domestic and international), online subscriptions, over the phone and recurring card payments.

4. Block Overseas In-store Transactions

If you’re not travelling, you can turn this type off for peace of mind. If you do turn this off, you’ll still be able to make online purchases from international shops or websites, but this block will stop any purchase made physically at a shop overseas.

How to access our card lock features

1. Login

Login to Suncorp Mobile Banking

2. Manage Cards

Simply tap on “Manage cards” to access your card controls

3. Select Card

Select your eligible card to lock or apply a control to

4. Lock Card

You’ll now see the lock options screen
