Suncorp Security Token App FAQs
The Suncorp Secured App is a new app available to Suncorp customers. The app is free, easy to use and secure. It works by generating a unique Security Token Code for you to enter when prompted by Internet Banking, Suncorp Bank App or the Suncorp App.
The Suncorp Secured App allows you to quickly generate a Security Token Code in just a few clicks so no matter where you are, or what time of day it is, you can complete your banking with Suncorp.
When you register your details on the Suncorp Secured App, you’ll be asked to enter the Security Token Code from your Physical Security Token one last time.
After that, the Physical Security Token you previously used will be immediately deactivated and you can start using the Suncorp Secured App to quickly and easily generate your codes. If you’d like to safely dispose of the hard token, please take it to your local Suncorp store.
You’ll be asked to enter a Security Token Code to authenticate certain transactions like changing your daily transfer limit. The new Suncorp Secured App allows you to generate the Security Token Code in a fast and secure way in just a few steps.
It depends on the kind of device you’re using. The Suncorp Secured App is available on any device using the following operating systems:
- iOS 8.0 or later (compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch)
- Android 5.0 or later
You can download the app from Google Play or the App Store.
If you change your phone or tablet, you can transfer your Suncorp Secured App to your new device by downloading the Suncorp Secured App onto the new device and logging in using your existing Banking Credentials or Suncorp ID. You need to enter the Token Code from your previous device to log in to the Suncorp Secured App on your new device. If you don’t have access to your previous device anymore, please contact us on 13 11 55.
You can only use the Suncorp Secured App on one device, so if you download the app onto a second device and register, that will deactivate the Suncorp Secured App on the first device.
If you wish to deregister from the Suncorp Secured App, please contact us on 13 11 55. Deleting the Suncorp Secured App from your device will not deregister you as a token user.
Note: If you no longer have a Security Token enabled, default daily limits will apply when Suncorp Secured App is deregistered.
