Identification FAQs

Suncorp Bank is required to review your information at regular intervals to ensure we comply with our legal and compliance obligations.  These obligations are in place to ensure our data is accurately maintained and we know that we are doing business with the correct person.  Maintaining accurate customer data can also assist in reducing the risk to your Banking and Wealth products from financial crime.

You will still be able to access your bank accounts however, if we request personal information about you and you do not provide it, we may not be able to provide you with the full range of services we offer, for example overseas payments.  Also, in future interactions with us you may be asked again to update your identification.

You can log onto Internet Banking and select the ‘Verify your ID now’ icon which will step you through the process of updating your information. Alternatively, you can call through to our Banking Contact Centre on 13 11 55 or visit your nearest Branch.

Please ensure you have a current form of government identification, such as Drivers Licence or Australian Passport, when you log on, speak to or visit us. For more information on acceptable identification, please visit the Personal Identification Requirements page on our website.
