If you don’t recognise a Visa Authorisation or purchase made through your Suncorp Bank account, it’s best to first check if the transactions are:

  • ones made by family members or any other cardholders authorised to use your account,
  • from businesses you’ve made purchases from who may be operating under a different name (to find out, you can do an online search of the name showing in your transaction history), or
  • regular memberships, subscription fees, or app downloads.

Once you’ve ruled those out, you can call 13 11 55 or complete the Visa Debit Dispute form (PDF, 113KB) to raise a dispute (which you can only do after a pending authorisation has been fully processed).

Please note, for all unauthorised transactions, we’ll need to immediately place a stop on your card to protect your account from potential further fraudulent activity and send you a new replacement card.

For added security, you can also temporarily lock your card via the Suncorp App.
