Bambora acquires Keycorp

Over the last few years, if you've had a Suncorp EFTPOS facility installed or upgraded, it's likely that you've dealt with our service provider Keycorp. Keycorp has supplied and installed all our EFTPOS terminals and assisted with on-site and technical Help Desk support. In Australia, Keycorp has been a major player in the EFTPOS business for close to thirty years. They've supported not only Suncorp but many other banks and major retailers.

We'd now like to advise you that in Australia Bambora recently acquired Keycorp and Keycorp has started trading under the Bambora name. Bambora offers in-store and online payments support and operates in Northern Europe, UK and North America. Bambora who were keen to establish themselves in the Asia Pacific region felt that Keycorp was an ideal fit upon which to build their business globally. 

Business as usual

From Suncorp's perspective, the name change has no impact on the service your business receives. It's the same people, same service levels, same contact numbers and the business is still managed locally. The only change you should notice is the name and brand. Visiting technicians will now have a Bambora ID and if you call the Help Desk for support Bambora will answer instead of Keycorp.

Increased benefits

Bambora is soon to release automated booking functionality on smart phones. This is just one of many digital improvements Bambora will introduce to the local Australian market from its global operations.
