Suncorp Bank Increases Interest Rates On Investor Lending

Suncorp Bank has today announced it will increase its standard variable, back to basics and access equity / line of credit rates for investor loans by up to 0.27% p.a. These changes apply to new and existing investor loans effective 31 August 2015.
Suncorp Bank’s Investment Standard Variable Rate and Access Equity Reference Rate will increase to 5.81% p.a. and its Investment Back to Basics Variable Rate will increase to 5.23% p.a. Variable rates on owner-occupied loans remain unchanged.
The changes reflected requirements to moderate investor home loan growth across the market and reinforced Suncorp Bank’s own commitment to these requirements.
