Are you mindful of how and where your money is invested?
If you want your investments to consider issues like climate change and fossil fuels, production of controversial weapons and human rights abuses, among others, we have four options you can choose from. All have been certified by the Responsible Investment Association Australia (RIAA), for having processes in place to avoid investment in companies affected by these issues.

If you want your investments to consider issues like climate change and fossil fuels, production of controversial weapons and human rights abuses, among others, we have four options you can choose from. All have been certified by the Responsible Investment Association Australia (RIAA), for having processes in place to avoid investment in companies affected by these issues.
What's excluded from the options?
If you invest in the Suncorp Multi-Manager diversified investment options, negative and controversy screens are used to exclude investment in companies that:
- Human rights – cause human harm or rights violations
- Armaments – manufacture controversial weapons
- Tobacco – produce tobacco or that have ownership in tobacco products or services, and any companies included in Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS®) 30203010 (Consumer staples > Food beverage and tobacco > Tobacco)
- Recreational cannabis – create products that are detrimental to human health with no safe level of human use or consumption, for example recreational cannabis
- Fossil fuels – are principally involved in the production of thermal coal, or planning new projects or significant expansion of existing projects for fossil fuel extraction, or thermal coal electricity generation.
What does RIAA certification mean?
IRIAA's RI Certification Symbol signifies that a product or service offers an investment style that takes into account environmental, social, governance or ethical considerations. The Symbol also signifies that the Suncorp Multi-Manager diversified investment options adhere to the strict operational and disclosure practices required under the Responsible Investment Certification Program for the category of Superfund Option.

What are the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment?
The six principles are:
1. Incorporate ESG issues into investment analysis and decision-making processes
2. Be active owners and incorporate ESG issues into ownership policies and practices
3. Seek appropriate disclosure on ESG issues from the entities invested in
4. Promote acceptance and implementation of the Principles within the investment industry
5. Work together to enhance the effectiveness in implementing the Principles
6. Report on activities and progress towards implementing the Principles.
