What do I need to do when an employee stops working for me?
When an employee stops working for you, you’ll need to notify the ATO, as well as:
- Pay out any outstanding employment owed;
- Let the ATO know the details of those payments;
- Fulfil any remaining super obligations; and
- Take care of any fringe benefits tax (FBT).
