The Suncorp App: How to get yourself set up

The Suncorp App's latest release lets you bank, budget, access discounts and more – all from the comfort of your living room.
The Suncorp App isn’t just about account management, it’s also a lifestyle app. And budgeting is one of the lifestyle things it’s handy for. The in-app Dollar Tracker automatically sorts your spending into categories like food, utilities and entertainment. So, you’ll get insights into your spending habits without having to pull out that spreadsheet! The Suncorp mobile app also lets eligible customers access various discounts on groceries, fuel and many other everyday essentials in-app!

And of course, the Suncorp App has all the standard stuff too – account and policy management, eStatements, money transfers and more. You don’t even need to be a Suncorp Bank customer to use it! AAMI, GIO, Shannons, APIA and CIL customers can use it too!
How to set up the Suncorp App
Search ‘Suncorp App’ in your phone’s Apple or Android Play Store and click ‘download’. Alternatively, visit the Suncorp App page and opt for a direct link to the app via text message.
Provide your details
- Under the ‘Banking’ tab, click ‘Open a bank account’.
- Provide your details. This includes your full name, email address and postcode.
- Verify your ID in-app: just show 1-2 forms of primary ID.
- Click the account activation link in your email confirmation.
- Click ‘Add an existing account’ under the ‘Banking’ tab.
- Provide your Internet Banking customer ID and password.
- Click ‘Add an existing policy’ under the ‘Insurance’ tab.
- Provide the email and password you have on file with us.
How do I link my accounts/policies?
You can use Apple Pay too!
Simply link a card under ‘Manage Account’ and add it to the ‘Apple Wallet’ section.
See that gift symbol titled ‘Rewards’ at the bottom of the home screen? That’s your portal to discounts from Australia’s biggest retailers (think JB-HiFi and your favourite supermarkets). You need to be a Suncorp customer to get in on the deals, so make sure you’ve linked your banking or insurance products to the mobile app before you start browsing rewards.
