What is the difference between emergency and temporary accommodation?
Emergency accommodation is arranged when your home is unsafe to live in. We will cover your accommodation until you can return. This accommodation is short-term.
Temporary accommodation is arranged when repairs to your home make it unsafe or unliveable. We will provide accommodation for the duration of the repairs. This also applies when a home has been completely destroyed and is being rebuilt. This accommodation is usually long-term.
