How to request assistance for your business

Financial hardship can happen to any business. If you're unable to make business loan repayments or you think you will be soon, we can help you get back on track.

Suncorp Bank's business support can include:

  • Temporarily postponing loan repayments
  • Extending the period of loan contracts and postponing or reducing the amount of repayments
  • Refunding merchant rental fees for a period
  • Rearranging your loan with a loan extension without the cost of most bank fees.

1. Get started by organising information about your business’ financial situation. 

Help us understand where your business stands financially. If possible, please provide:

  • Current financial year financials (Profit & Loss, BAS, Cash Flow Statement)
  • Most recent internal management accounts (if available)
  • A list of debtors and creditors (anyone you buy from or sell to)
  • Details of any repayment arrangements with suppliers or customers
  • Confirmation of current tax liabilities and payments

2. Submit a Request for Financial Assistance (Business) form

This form assists us in considering how we can help your business, but it isn’t mandatory. You can provide the information in another format, for example in an email or a spreadsheet.

For customers who have difficulty providing a request in writing, please call us on 1800 225 223 (8:30am-5pm, Mon-Fri, AEST).

Everything you tell us is confidential and assessed on a case-by-case basis.

What happens once you’ve submitted a Financial Assistance request?

Rest assured that while we’re considering your business’ request, we won’t do anything to change the status of your loans.

Because it takes time to understand each business customer’s unique circumstances, we may need up to 21 days to review and respond to your completed request. Find out more.
