How to request assistance for your business

Any business can encounter financial difficulty when things don’t go as planned. If you’re behind on bills or waiting for customer payments, sometimes it can be hard to understand where your business stands.

Fortunately, you don’t have to figure things out on your own. Get assistance that could help your business get back on track.

How Suncorp Bank could help

If you're unable to make business loan repayments, depending on individual circumstances Suncorp Bank's support options can include:

  • capitalising interest and/or principal repayments
  • extending your loan contract term and reduce repayments
  • temporarily varying merchant rental fees.

We urge you to contact us as soon as possible so we can work with you to consider how we could provide support. Suncorp Bank will consider your business’s individual circumstances when providing assistance to help your business.

How to request financial assistance for your business

1. Organise information about your business’s financial situation.

Help us understand where your business stands financially by providing:

  • your most recent financial year financials (e.g. Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, BAS, Cash Flow Projection)
  • your most recent internal management accounts (if available)
  • a list of your debtors and creditors (anyone you buy from or sell to)
  • details of any repayment arrangements with suppliers, customers or statutory authorities (e.g. tax liabilities, Land Tax, etc)
  • confirmation of current tax positions (e.g. an ATO running statement covering the last 12 months from your Accountant or the ATO portal).

2. Submit a Request for Financial Assistance (Business) form

This form assists us in considering how we may be able to help your business. Alternatively, you can provide this information in another format, for example in an email or a spreadsheet. The more information you can provide, the easier it will be for us to understand how we might be able to assist.

For customers who may have difficulty providing a request in writing, please call us.

Everything you tell us is confidential and your request will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
