Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker Terms & Conditions

You agree to these Terms and Conditions and any changes we make to them from time to time when you register to use the Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker and each time you access Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker. We can change these terms and conditions at any time.

These terms and conditions must be read in conjunction with the Suncorp Bank Internet Banking Terms and Conditions

What is Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker?

Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker is an information management service that accesses your

  • Suncorp Bank Internet Banking transaction information,
  • transaction information that you manually upload from other financial institutions and/or
  • information that you authorise us to access from third party websites as your agent (if this service is available)

to provide you with a consolidated view of your transaction data to assist you to undertake a number of budgeting activities including setting savings targets and reviewing spending habits.

Copyright and all intellectual property rights in Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker are owned by the service provider. Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker is a registered trademark of Suncorp-Metway Ltd ABN 66 010 831 722

You are permitted to use content delivered to you through Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker only on Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content or reverse-engineer any part of Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker.

Registration

You are eligible to register for Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker if you are an existing Suncorp Bank customer with Suncorp Bank Internet Banking access.

Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker is only available to customers with a single profile within Suncorp Internet Banking. Customers with multiple profiles within Suncorp Internet Banking will be unable to register for Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker.

You can only register for Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker by reading and accepting the terms and conditions and clicking on the Register button on the registration page.

Once you have registered, access to Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker will be granted within 24-48 hours. A link to Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker will be available on the left hand menu on your Internet Banking profile and you will be able to click on this link to access Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker each time you log in to Internet Banking. When setting up your Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker access, we will include transaction information from all Suncorp accounts that you can access or view using your Suncorp Bank Internet Banking secret codes. You will be able to filter this information using Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker.

If you do not access Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker within a 90 day period we will de-activate your registration. We will send a secure message advising that your registration will be deactivated unless you re-enter Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker 14 days prior to de-registration. If we deactivate your registration all data, including manually uploaded data or data obtained from Third Party websites will no longer be visible within Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker and you will have to re-register if you wish to access Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker again. Suncorp takes no responsibility for lost data.

Customer Identification Number and Internet Banking Password (secret access codes)

Your access to Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker is only available through Suncorp Internet Banking using your secret access codes.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your secret access codes and you agree that you will protect your accounts against unauthorised transactions and access in accordance with the requirements of the Suncorp Internet Banking Terms and Conditions.

Your Personal and Financial Information

By providing your details to us,you agree to the Suncorp group of companies collecting and using your personal information to set up and administer your products and services and keep you up to date with the range of products and services available from the Suncorp Group. We will only disclose your details to other organisations, including overseas companies, if they are contracted to us to provide services or activities on our behalf. You may contact us to access your information at any time and to let us know that you no longer wish to be contacted by us for marketing purposes, but if you choose not to provide your details, we cannot provide you with products or services. You acknowledge that we have provided you with our Privacy Statement with your product documents and the Internet Banking Terms and Conditions. Our Privacy Policy can also be accessed at our website.

Suncorp may also use, sell, license, distribute and disclose to third parties aggregated information obtained in relation to Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker. Aggregated information may contain non-personal account information or data, but it does not contain personal information that could be used to identify you. Examples of aggregated information might include the number of people who use Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker and the type and numbers of accounts that are aggregated.

Accessing and Using Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker

You may ask us to include information in Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker when you manually upload transaction data or authorise us to access third party websites as your agent.

When you access and use Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker you:

  • represent that all of the information you provide to us in connection with Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker is accurate, current and complete and that you have the right to provide such information for the purpose of operating Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker;

Suncorp takes no responsibility for the accuracy or content of the uploaded information which is uploaded at the customer risk. Uploaded data will not be available if your Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker access has been de-registered. You will need to upload such data again if you choose to re-register for Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker.

Accessing Third Party Websites (If available)

If you ask us and we agree to access Third Party websites on your behalf you must provide us with the information we require to access the third party websites and you appoint us as your agent with the full power to do and perform each act or thing necessary to be done as fully as might or could do in person. As your agent we will:

retrieve information requested by you (including information concerning individuals and other entities you have set up to receive payments from you ("Payees") and payments you have made to Payees) the Data;
copy or transfer the Data and upload it into Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker;
register to view the accounts requested by you and to otherwise use, modify, display, distribute and create derivative works from such information to provide Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker

You represent that you are the legal owner of the account at the Third Party Website and that you have the authority to designate Suncorp Bank as your agent and to give us the information we require to include in Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker;

You acknowledge that we are not the agent of the entity providing the Third Party Website; and that balances shown on Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker reflect the most recent refresh by the entity providing the Third Party Website and may not be as accurate as if the Third Party Website was accessed directly.

Suncorp Bank has no responsibility for any transactions, inquiries or other activities you initiate at a Third Party Website, the products and services at a Third Party Website and any fees charged by the entity providing the Third Party Website.

System Accessibility

You will need access to secure computer equipment with suitable software that includes a web browser that supports 128 bit SSL, cookies and JavaScript. The web browser and the supporting software used to access Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker must be supported by the software vendor. Suncorp will provide no support or warranty if Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker is accessed using software no longer supported by its vendor.

Suncorp cannot always anticipate technical or other difficulties. These difficulties may result in loss of data, personalised settings or other interruptions to Suncorp Bank Budget Tracker. Except to the extent prohibited by law, regulation or code of practice or conduct (including the Electronic Funds Transfer Code of Conduct and the Code of Banking Practice), Suncorp is not liable for the timeliness, accuracy, deletion, mis-delivery or failure to store any data, communications or personalised settings. We will try to resolve your problem within 24 hours. If we can’t, our Regional Office in your area or our Suncorp Bank CEO Office will acknowledge your complaint within 1 business day and endeavour to resolve it within 21 days but no more than 45 days. If we can’t settle your complaint within this timeframe we will notify you.

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of your complaint you can contact our external dispute resolution scheme. External Dispute Resolution is a free service established to provide you with an independent mechanism to resolve specific complaints. Suncorp Bank’s External Dispute Resolution provider is the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) Australia and can be contacted by:
