Ingham welcomes Bulls Masters cricket greats
29 April 2015
Ingham locals and cricket fans will get up close and personal with sporting heroes Jimmy Maher and Andrew Symonds when the duo visit Suncorp Bank this Friday, 1 May for the Queensland Bulls Masters Tour.
The former Australian cricket greats will spend three days in the region delivering an extensive calendar of free community events including a T20 charity cricket match, junior coaching clinic, and a free community autograph session at the local Suncorp Bank Ingham Branch.
Suncorp Bank Regional Manager for North Queensland, Brad Steele, said he was thrilled to host the Bulls Masters in town.
“Cricket is one of Australia’s favourite pastimes, and the Bulls Masters’ tours provide Queensland communities with an invaluable opportunity to engage with some of Australia’s premier athletes whilst raising money for local charities,” Mr Steele said.
“The Suncorp Bank Ingham Branch will host an autograph session with the Bulls Masters players this Friday, and I encourage Ingham’s cricket fans to come along.
“We will also present the Ingham Relay for Life with a signed cricket bat, courtesy of the Queensland Bulls Masters, to support their fundraising efforts for cancer research.
“As Australia’s leading regional bank, we are proud to support initiatives that contribute long lasting benefits to regional Queensland and promotes the importance of healthy and active living.”
