Certified Carbon Neutral

Carbon neutral certification is given to an organisation when they demonstrate a commitment to reduce emissions by supporting environmental projects to effectively reduce and offset their greenhouse gas emissions during an agreed time period.

In Australia, carbon neutral certification is governed by Climate Active.

We’re committing to providing banking services that are good for your world, our world and the world.

Suncorp Bank is a certified carbon neutral company. We’re also the only mid-sized Australian bank to be a signatory to the United Nations Principles for Responsible Banking.

We see this as a natural extension of our brand and heritage, which is built on care for our customers and communities and being there in the moments that matter.

Creating a brighter future together

We put our customers at the heart of everything we do. Here are just some of the ways we’re growing our business more inclusively and sustainably.

The new Carbon Insights Account is here.

With this account you can view an estimate of carbon emissions for your purchases.

To estimate emissions, each transaction is matched to an industry with spend amount multiplied by that industry’s average emission factor.

What’s more, all new Suncorp Bank Visa Debit and eftpos cards are:

  • manufactured from 82% recycled material
  • designed with special features to assist customers living with visual impairments.
