  3. Logon to Internet Banking.
  4. Go to BPAY® – Pay Bills and select New BPAY Payment.
  5. Complete the screen with your details:
    1. Select your account that you wish to pay your bill from. (Note. Not all billers will let you use a credit card for payment, check the bill for details.)
    2. Enter the biller code and customer reference number as it appears on your bill. If you are going to pay this biller regularly, you can save it as a frequent biller by ticking the box. Use the dropdown list next time to access your frequent billers.
    3. Enter the amount on the bill. (minimum is $1)
    4. Select the timing. You can select immediate, in the future (up to 365 days) or recurring (weekly, fortnightly or monthly). You can start a recurring payment up to 60 days from when you first create the payment.
    5. Select if you want to round up your bill and donate to a charity. You can learn more below.
    6. Check the details and click confirm.
    7. Record your receipt number on your bill for reference.

Important Information Regarding BPAY billers

  • Note that if you want to setup a recurring BPAY payment, some billers change their reference number every time they send you a bill.
  • It is best to check with the biller if they do this to ensure your payment does not bounce.

Tax Payments

If you need to make a payment to the ATO, follow the process as above but click ‘Make a Tax Payment’ from the BPAY – Pay Bills screen. Just enter your EFT code from your ATO documents and follow the rest of the steps.

BPAY Processing Times

  • BPAY payments can take 1-3 days to process.
  • If you want a payment to arrive at a biller on a particular date, we recommend you set the payment date in Internet Banking 2-3 days before the due date on your bill.

At Suncorp we are committed to supporting the community and actively engage our customers and staff in helping charities to raise much needed funds. Our BPAY donation initiative allows you to make donations to a selection of charities supported by Suncorp.

We have raised in excess of $240,000 for our nominated charities. Learn more about the charities we support.

How it works:
