Comprehensive Boat Insurance

At Suncorp, we understand that boating mishaps don't just happen at sea. That's why we not only provide cover for many types of boats, but also provide cover for them in and out of the water.

We can insure your motor cruisers, dinghies, cabin boats, ski boats, yachts, trailer sailers and runabouts with Comprehensive Cover that provides cover for your boat hull, any motor, and trailer, up to their market value, if you asked us to insure them and they are shown on your certificate of insurance.

Comprehensive cover also provides cover for your boat contents up to the market value of each item but no more than:

• $1,000 for an EPIRB, VHF or HF radio
• $500 for any other item
• $5,000 in total for any one claim

Comprehensive Boat Insurance provides cover for your boat for theft and accidental loss and damage including cover for fire and storms. Comprehensive cover also includes Third Party Cover up to $10 million.

Cover for reasonable costs for emergency actions to minimise loss or damage up to $5,000 Easy, paperless claims Cover for a range of boat contents up to $5,000 in total for any one claim Cover at a boat repair shop or boat dealership (minimum security precautions apply)

* Where we agree that the incident was not your fault and you can provide us with the name, address of the person at fault and registration or identification details of any boat or vehicle involved.
