Reaching some 3000 primary and secondary schools around the country, EdRugby is
the ARU’s national education program, offering rugby themed curriculum aimed to
assist registered teachers teach life skills and schools subjects as well as a variety
of rugby participation programs. Suncorp Bank is proud to be an Official Partner
of the EdRugby Program and naming rights partner of EdRuby’s national schools play
rugby engagement week, known as Suncorp Bank Walla Rugby Week.
In 2009 Suncorp Bank Walla Rugby Week will take place from 17-21 August and aims
to reach more than 7500 students. Every school that registers to participate receives
rugby equipment and Walla Rugby rules plus the chance to win some fantastic prizes
including a rugby clinic and BBQ with Suncorp Rugby Ambassadors Robbie Deans (Wallabies
Head Coach) and Berrick Barnes (Wallaby).
