Volunteering in the community
As part of our commitment to the community, you’ll be entitled to one
day of paid leave, every financial year, to participate in community activities.
We call this Volunteer Day.
Volunteering is a very rewarding experience. Our employees develop skills,
build stronger relationships within their teams, meet new people and have fun
while helping others. This Volunteer Day Program builds on the great work many
of our employees already do in the community.
Suncorp’s participation rate in Volunteer Day is three times the industry
average. Since its inception in 2004, Suncorp has forged over 30 partnerships
with charity and community based organisations in most major cities and many
regional areas across Australia. We’re certainly giving the community
something to smile about.
