General Research

The General Research features are provided though Suncorp’s share trade partner, as part of the standard Suncorp Share Trade online service.

  • Company Research section that enables you to access a broad range of information by entering a stock code.
  • A search tool in the Research section that allows you to enter a list of criteria and return a list of stocks meeting your criteria.
  • Recommendations on the stocks of the S&P/ASX 50 Index. The feature lists each stock as a buy, sell or hold.
  • Market Commentary on the ASX (updated twice daily) as well as an overnight report on international markets.
  • A search tool to access the ASX Announcements.
  • A Charts tool allowing you to plot price and volume of stocks over time, including intra day. This tool will also allow you to compare stocks against each other or an index.
  • Earnings charts are found in the Company Research section.
  • Consensus forecasts and recommendations provided by other stockbrokers and research houses.
  • A comprehensive corporate calendar enables you to keep up to date on key events in the market.
  • Full listing of all warrants issued on a specific stock with essential information.

Premium Research

The Premium Research features are provided though Suncorp’s share trade partner for a monthly subscription fee. To subscribe to Premium Research, you must have an active Suncorp Share Trade account that is linked direct to your Margin Trader Loan account.

In addition to the features described in General Research, Premium Research provides for extended key information and research options:

  • Latest Research - access to Research Coverage, recommendations and displays all major research articles for the last few days
  • Research Coverage - recommendations and research links for ASX Stock codes associated with the All Companies, S&P ASX 100, S&P ASX 50 and S&P ASX 20
  • Recommendations - Buy, Sell, Hold and accumulate recommendations for a range of ASX listed codes
  • Value Model - a new tool that determines a share price value based on a number of key indicators
  • Portfolio Tool - view and track a portfolio, enter transactions, review performance and benchmark the created portfolio against sector weights for the All Ordinaries index
  • Enhanced research information for Key Measures, Business Summary, Corporate Calendar, and Search Tool

50% Rebate of Premium Research Subscription

Suncorp Margin Trader gives you the added benefit of rebating part of the monthly subscription fees, once your Margin Loan reaches a certain balance.

At the end of each calendar month, Suncorp will rebate back 50% your monthly Premium Research subscription fees that are payable by you, subject to the following conditions:

  • The rebate will only be applicable to customers that have subscribed for Premium Research through their Suncorp Share Trade account that is both linked to your Suncorp Margin Trader account and where subscription fees are debited direct to your linked Suncorp Margin Trader Loan account.
  • The rebate will only apply if the average monthly balance of your Margin trader loan account balance was $500,000 or greater in the same month that the subscription fee was debited
  • Your premium research fee will be debited by JDV Limited (provided of the Suncorp Share Trade product to Suncorp) to your Suncorp Margin Trade Loan account each month.
  • Premium Research subscription fees remain payable by you at the times. Any rebate of these fees will be credited to your linked Suncorp Margin Loan account at the end of each calendar month, provided you have reached the minimum monthly loan balance conditions.
  • Limit of one (1) Premium Research Fee rebate per month per Suncorp Margin Trader account
