Rebated Brokerage Fees

One of the most rewarding benefits of Suncorp Margin Trader is that when you buy shares online through Suncorp Share Trade, we will rebate up to $500 per month of your monthly Brokerage Fees when your loan balance exceeds $250,000.

That could be the equivalent of Suncorp paying up to $6,000 per annum on your behalf if you trade every month and take advantage of the total monthly rebates available to you for a full year.

Suncorp will rebate any Brokerage and/or Conditional Order Fees that are payable by you, when you purchase any eligible ASX Listed Shares online through Suncorp Share Trade, subject to the following conditions:

  • The Brokerage rebate will only be assessed on Online Share Purchase Transactions that are made through the Suncorp Share Trade account that is linked to your Suncorp Margin Loan facility as part of Margin Trader.
  • The loan account balance of your Suncorp Margin Trader account at the time of settlement of the internet buy transaction must be $250,000 or greater.
  • The total amount of fees rebated for Online Buy Brokerage and Conditional Orders is capped to a maximum combined amount of $500 per month ('Capped Rebate'). Any fees payable by you over the Capped Rebate amount will not be rebated.
  • Brokerage and/or Conditional Order Fees will be included in the contract note for each transaction and remain payable by you through Share Trade at the time of settlement. Any rebate of these fees will be credited to your linked Suncorp Margin Loan account on the next business day following settlement of the transaction. Rebate transactions will be back dated to the date of settlement of the applicable share transaction.
  • Any unused part of the monthly Capped Rebate amount cannot be carried forward to the next month.
  • We will only rebate the Brokerage and/or Conditional Order Fees that are purchased through Suncorp Share Trade.
  • The annual savings of $6000 can be achieved if you trade every month and take advantage of the total monthly Capped Rebate available to you for a full year.
