Office of Fair Trading (OFT)

The OFT is the government department that administers the Property Agents and Motor Dealers Act. They issue the Resident Letting Agents License and regulate the responsibilities of the manager in dealing with trust monies and other business activities. Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ)

The REIQ provides the standard contracts for sale of Management Rights businesses and manager units. They also provide the modules for the Property Development and Management Training Package (PRD01) which forms the basis of the Resident Letting Agents License course requirements.
