Your family could receive a payout if you die as the result of an accident in the first 12 months of the policy and any cause of death is covered after the first 12 months of the policy.
Suncorp will refund all premiums to your loved ones if you die as a result of sickness or suicide within the first 12 months of the policy.

Product Update
As of 7 January 2011 the Suncorp Group of companies moved to a new non operating holding company structure (NOHOC). The new NOHOC is Suncorp Group Limited. - This means you will be eligible to receive, every 3 years, a refund of 10% of premiums paid under a Suncorp Funeral Plan policy in the previous 3 years subject to any relevant terms that apply to your policy. No interest will be paid on the refunded amount. Refer to the Suncorp Funeral Plan Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) for details.
- The payment of any benefit under a Suncorp Funeral Plan policy is subject to relevant terms that apply to your policy. Refer to the PDS for details.
- A policy will continue until it ends in accordance with its terms. Refer to the PDS for more details.
- Acceptance is only guaranteed for Australian permanent residents aged 18 to 75 (inclusive) who have received the PDS in Australia and is subject to our confirmation. Provision of cover is subject to our confirmation and receipt of your correct payment details.
