Multiple Policy Discounts

Combine any 3 eligible policies with Suncorp Insurance and we’ll give you a 15% Multi Policy Discount. Eligible policies include home, contents, car, boat and Queensland CTP. Please note that CTP counts as an eligible policy, but can’t be discounted due to Queensland legislation.

We also offer a range of other discounts off our premiums which you may be eligible for, such as:

• Over 55s discount on home insurance, and
• A home insurance discount for the holders of a Qld Government issued Senior's Card.

Terms and Conditions

• To qualify for the 15% Multiple Policy Discount you must have 3 or more eligible policies with Suncorp Metway Insurance Limited (Suncorp). There must be a common mailing address and the person(s) seeking the discount must be nominated as an insured on each eligible policy.
• The eligible policies to qualify for the Multiple Policy Discount are Home, Contents, Motor Vehicle (including Car, Motorcycle, Caravan or Trailer), Boat and Compulsory Third Party (CTP) Insurance (QLD only) but the discount is only applied if the policy is a Suncorp personal insurance policy. Your policy is a personal insurance policy if your policy number starts with a "P".
• It is not necessary to have separate policy numbers for each eligible policy in order to qualify for the Multiple Policy Discount. For example, if you have one Suncorp personal insurance policy number but on that policy you insure your Home, its Contents and a Motor Vehicle this will be counted as three policies towards Multiple Policy Discount eligibility.
• CTP Insurance can be included as an eligible policy towards Multiple Policy Discount eligibility but you will not receive a Multiple Policy Discount on the premium as CTP Insurance premiums are regulated by the Queensland State Government and cannot be discounted.
• If you are an existing customer and provided you qualify, the 15% Multiple Policy discount will be applied to your existing eligible policies as they renew on or after 22 February 2010.
• If on or after 22 February 2010 you take out a new policy which means you then qualify, the 15% discount will apply to that policy immediately but on your other existing eligible policies, the discount applies from the next renewal date after you qualify.
• If you are eligible for other discounts (in addition to the Multiple Policy discount), then generally we apply each additional discount to the already discounted premium. For some of our products a minimum premium applies and the Multi Policy Discount will not reduce the minimum premium.
• Suncorp reserves the right to vary or discontinue the Multiple Policy Discount program at any time and without notice.
