Important Notice to Suncorp Insurance Customers

The Motor Accident Insurance Commission is aware that some Queensland motorists involved in motor vehicle accidents have received "scam" calls attempting to obtain personal information about the motorist and the crash. The callers appear to be encouraging people to lodge potentially fraudulent claims. They associate themselves with a range of organisations including Government agencies and Insurance companies. While it is common for motorists to receive legitimate calls from Government agencies and Insurance companies, it is important that motorists be mindful that "scam" callers are currently operating in Queensland. If you receive a "scam" call please notify the Motor Accident Insurance Commission by calling the CTP Helpline on 1300 302 568.
