7 day repair guarantee
It's all about getting you back on the road quickly. If you can safely drive your damaged vehicle to one of our assessment centres and we can't fix it within 7 days, we'll provide a courtesy car on the eighth day until it is repaired. Conditions apply. Click here for full details.

Hire car after theft
If you're unlucky enough to have your car stolen, we'll arrange and pay for a 'small category' hire car for up to 14 days at no extra premium. You can also choose to upgrade to a larger category hire car by paying the difference. You are responsible for all running costs and extras of the hire car.
No fault, no worries
Why should you pay for other people's mistakes? If you make a claim and we agree that the accident wasn't your fault (and you can identify and provide us with details of the party responsible) you won't have to pay an excess or have your No Claim Discount reduced.
Repairs guaranteed for life
Because we want your car fixed properly the first time, we ensure that repairs we authorise are completed to the highest standard. In fact, we guarantee the quality of materials and workmanship in repairs we authorise for the life of your car, even if you no longer own it.

Where possible, we will offer you a choice of repairer.
2 year new car replacement
We understand how much your new car means to you. So if your car (including ex-demos) is a total loss within the first two years of its original registration, and you're the first owner, you can choose to accept a new replacement car of the same make, model and series, plus we'll pay all on road costs. There are also no limits on the number of kilometres your car has travelled.
Have your claim settled sooner
We work hard to get you back on the road sooner. If your car is deemed a total loss, we strive to settle your payment within 24 hours of receiving the paperwork from our assessors.
Easy, paperless claims
When you make a claim there are no forms to fill out and no need to run around getting quotes, we'll do that for you. Just call our claims number on 13 25 24, anytime 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Hire car after an accident
It's a big hassle to be without your car following an accident, especially when you need to get to work, do the shopping or pick up the kids. Choose and pay for this option and we'll arrange for and pay the cost of a 'small category' hire car for 14 days if your car is damaged in an insured event. You can also choose to upgrade to a larger category hire car by paying the difference. You are responsible for all running costs and extras of the hire car.
No claim discount protection*
By choosing and paying for this option you can protect your Rating 1. After all, you've worked hard to earn it. Even if you make an 'at fault' claim, you won't lose your Rating 1. And if you have held a Rating 1 for two consecutive years with the same insurer and haven't made an at fault claim in that time, we'll give you Rating 1 for Life at no extra cost.
*We have the right to alter the terms of cover for Rating 1 Protection including excess, premiums and acceptance of cover according to our underwriting rules. Applies to cars, 4WDs, utilities and vans up to 2 tonnes carrying capacity which were manufactured after 1975 and have Comprehensive Cover.
Windscreen and window glass damage
We know how annoying it is when your windscreen or one of your car windows is broken. That's why we've introduced this great option. So if only the windscreen or window glass in your vehicle is damaged and this option is shown on your certificate of insurance, you won't have to pay an excess or have your rating reduced. This is for a maximum of one claim per year.
Named Driver Option
Are you 40 or over? Do only you and one other person, also aged 40 or over, drive your car? If so, you can save 10% on your Suncorp Comprehensive Car Insurance premium by limiting your comprehensive cover to you and the other driver.

No Claim Discount
Depending on how long you have driven and your driving record, you may be eligible for a No Claim Discount of a maximum of 60% (also known as a Rating 1). Once you have held a Rating 1 with the same insurer for two consecutive years and had no at fault claims in that time, we'll give you this rating for life. Rating 1 for Life guarantees that while you are comprehensively insured with Suncorp your Rating 1 will not be reduced.

Family Discount
Helping your kids save is easy with Suncorp. If you are on a Rating 1 with us and have had no at fault claims in the past 12 months, you could be eligible to pass on a massive 60% Family Discount to your kids who are under 25 when they take out their own Suncorp comprehensive car insurance. And don't worry, if they make a claim, it won't affect your Rating!
