We cover the big things – such as the theft of your boat, or accidental loss or damage due to things like fire, storms and sinking. Plus, we offer other great benefits like up to $5000 contents cover automatically included (some per item sub-limits apply) and 2 year new boat replacement following a total loss.

Automatic Boat Contents Cover
Up to $5,000 cover for your boat contents automatically included (boat contents include portable fuel tanks, paddles, batteries, portable barbecues and gas bottles, fishing rods and tackle, clothing, wet weather gear, maps and charts. Some per item sub-limits apply. Additional cover for boat contents - You can also choose to cover additional boat contents (extra premium applies).  Some per item sub-limits apply.

New Boat Replacement following total loss
We will replace your boat with a brand new boat if it’s less than 2 years old and considered a total loss as a result of an accident or theft. Other conditions apply.

Rescue Expenses
We cover you up to $5,000 for Maritime Rescue expenses when you and your boat are reported missing.

Salvage and removal costs
We cover costs to salvage and remove your boat up to $10 million.

Hull Inspection
Cover for inspection of hull after running aground (up to $1,000).

Fatal Injury
We provide fatal injury cover (up to $5,000).

Road Towing
We cover road towing costs to the nearest place of safety or repair (up to $1,000).

 

Emergency Expenses
We cover you up to $5,000 for emergency expenses including travel and accommodation following loss or damage to your boat or trailer.

Voluntary Excess Options
Reduce your premium by choosing a higher excess within the range we offer.

Legal Liability Cover
Legal liability cover up to $10 million for death, injury and property damage caused by your boat. A lower limit applies under the ‘Pollution by oil, fuel or waste following an insured incident’ additional feature.

Pollution Cover
Liability cover for pollution by oil, fuel or waste following an insured incident up to $250,000. Other conditions apply

Substitute boat
Automatic third party cover for a similar substitute boat that does not belong to you when your boat is with a repairer up to 14 days.

24/7 Claims Service
Call us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Flexible Payment Options
Pay by the month or annually (additional costs apply to pay by the month).

Lay up
Our Lay-up period optional cover helps you reduce your premium if you don’t use your boat for parts of the year and it is stored at your home during this time. Nominate a lay-up period with restricted cover for up to 6 months a year.

Waters Skiers Liability
Waters skiers liability cover up to $10 million for when your boat is towing a water skier

  

Racing Cover
Racing cover for sailing boats participating in a race up to 100 nautical miles in  total distance
