What policy provides cover
What’s great about this additional cover is that you can make a claim independently of a claim for loss or damage to the home caused by an insured event.
What’s covered?
We’ll cover damage to and/or soiling of your home during the period of insurance that occurs as a result of:
- physical assaults or death;
- forensic or police investigations associated with the incident.
We’ll also cover the resultant costs of specialist forensic and other cleaning services and the removal of biohazard materials.
Know that the most we will cover for any one incident is outlined in the table above.
What’s not covered?
There are some instances where you will not be covered, which include:
- damage or soiling caused by incidents that are not the result of physical assaults or death;
- odour removal.
