Suncorp Metway Investment Management Limited has appointed Russell Investment Group, on a temporary basis, to provide interim management of the Suncorp Australian Equities (APIR code SUN0030AU), Imputation (APIR code SUN0099AU) and Property Securities (APIR code SUN0041AU) Trusts until a new in-house Suncorp Australian equities team is in place.
Russell was appointed after an extensive tender process and provides the particular skills and resources that allow the continuation of the established Suncorp Australian equities investment style to the benefit of investors.
Recruitment for a new team is progressing well, and it is emphasised that the Russell appointment will only continue until the new in-house team is in place.
