Brought to you by the Suncorp Bank Kids Savings Account.
This summer Suncorp and Channel 9 are giving you and three friends (aged between 8 and 15) the chance to attend a cricket coaching clinic with special guests the Queensland Bulls. The clinic will be held at Allan Border Field, Albion, on the 18th of December 2009. There are a limited number of spots (100 spots, 25 winners take 3 friends each) available to the clinic where you will get the chance test your skills against a number of the current Bulls squad as well as learn from some of Queensland's best Development Officers. The Clinic will consist of skills and drills sessions, a mini game of cricket followed by your chance to get autographs and photo's with the Bulls players in attendance. There will be a free sausage sizzle for Clinic participants to round out the day. Although only a limited number of participants will be eligible to participate in the actual clinic, parents/family of the lucky winners are welcome to attend and watch the Clinic on the day.
To enter the competition all you need to do is watch Channel 9's coverage of the upcoming All*Stars Twenty20 match on Sunday November 22nd, details on how to enter will be given during the telecast. Alternatively, this web page will be updated with information on entry to the competition, consent form and terms and conditions on Monday November 23rd 2009.
Suncorp has proudly supported the Queensland Bulls both on and off the pitch for nearly 20 years. As a major support sponsor we are proud to be involved in the development of cricket at all levels of the game, with a particular focus on promoting the game throughout regional Queensland. In 2009 Suncorp took Queensland Cricket's preseason Regional Tour to the Sunshine Coast where we visited local schools, Suncorp Branches, conducted a coaching clinic at Maroochydore Cricket Club, hosted a sportsmen's lunch with proceeds going to the Sunshine Coast Cricket Association and finished up with two entertaining Twenty20 games against Tasmania and South Australia. Previously we have taken the tour to area's such as Cairns, Townsville, Atherton, Mt Isa and Bundaberg giving regional Queensland the opportunity to meet some of their cricketing heroes.
