At Suncorp, we value the communities in which we live and work. As well as providing Australians with a range of banking, insurance and investment services, we’re also focused on supporting some amazing programs and initiatives. From sponsoring events to providing much-needed assistance to charities and research organisations, we’re dedicated to getting out into the community and making a real difference to people’s lives.

Supporting a great Australian sport

Suncorp has been working closely with the ARU since 2004 and is the organisation’s official financial services sponsor. Through our sponsorship of the Wallabies, and by rolling out an extended rugby program, we’ve supported the ARU in its quest to take rugby to as many Australians as possible, promoting the sport from the grassroots through to the elite level.

In 2010 we will again get behind the ARU’s community rugby programs through Ed Rugby, the Suncorp Bank Ball Kids promotion and Suncorp Bank Walla Rugby Week. Last year more than 100 schools and 15,000 kids enjoyed the week and we’re hoping this year will be even bigger and better!

We also believe strongly in sharing the benefits of the sponsorship with our valued customers, and do this through the Group’s hospitality program and various customer promotions.
